Saanidhaanam is an assisted-living facility at Palghar for persons with disability and senior citizens

Saanidhaanam ALF, under the aegis of Sundar Jessaram Kataria Foundation, is a home for the physically disabled and the senior citizens at Wandivali Village, Maswan, Palghar, Maharastra, India, on a one acre land, surrounded by mountains and lush green fields, creating a scenic view.

Saanidhaanam is the brain child of professionals working in the field of disability for over 40 years. Saanidhaanam is committed to empowering persons with disabilities and senior citizens to live as independently as possible within a safe, secure, accessible, and inclusive environment. 

Saanidhanaam provides a holistic range of services, including therapeutic interventions for mobility and functional independence, meaningful activities that encourage active participation, interactive programs that foster social engagement, and professional medical support for physical and mental well-being. Every individual receives personalized care and support tailored to their unique needs. 

Through these efforts, we nurture independence, enhance self-confidence, and strengthen self-esteem. This vision is at the heart of DIScoverABILITY - our initiative that encourages every individual to rediscover themselves, recognize their strengths, and embrace their ability to live life with greater autonomy and purpose.

The main goal of Saanidhaanam is to change attitudes towards people with disabilities and senior citizens, to enhance their quality of life. It addresses the concerns of Senior folks and parents of People with Disabilities who wonder, "What after us?" & "Who will take care of me when I am old?"

Saanidhaanam is a home away from home at Wandivali, Palghar for people with physical disabilities (18 years+) and senior citizens (60 years+). It addresses residents physical, intellectual, emotional, social, medical needs and challenges. It provides an accessible residential home, companionship, care and medical rehabilitation with individualized nutrition and wellness programs. This safe, comfortable and accessible environment enhances their quality of life with dignity.
