We focus on the following activities:

1. Creating a sense of importance of education among children and society
2. Support to schools in teaching aids, workshops and any other assistance for schools
3. Supporting socio-economically backward children for their educational needs
4. Inculcating habits of daily studies, book reading and increasing general knowledge
5. School infrastructure projects are undertaken to create a safe, functional, and conducive learning environment for students. These projects include the construction, renovation, and upgrading of essential facilities such as classrooms, toilets, kitchens, playgrounds, and other school infrastructure.
6. We have been working to address the issue of absenteeism and school dropouts among adolescent girls, particularly in senior classes, by providing reusable cloth sanitary pads. Along with distributing these eco-friendly pads, we conduct awareness and hygiene workshops to educate girls on proper use, menstrual health, and personal hygiene. This initiative helps improve school attendance, boosts confidence, and enables girls to continue their education without interruption.

8. Setting up Science Labs so that they compete with their counterparts in the cities
9. Sports play a vital role in the overall development of students. To encourage physical fitness, teamwork, and recreation, we provide sports kits to schools under our umbrella
10. We undertake various workshops on career guidance, art and creativity, personal hygiene, student motivation, etc to support the overall development of children and prepare them for future challenges
11. The Narayanan Memorial Scholarship is a flagship initiative of VMF through which we support needy and deserving students by funding their school and college fees

The seeds were sown out of one simple thought of supporting education. A group of like-minded friends and colleagues came together in 2013 with a belief that education is a basic human right and an essential element in the social and economic development of any country. We are a non-sectarian, non-political, and not-for-profit organisation that provides crucial educational support to children who really need it. We have been actively involved in supporting students from remote tribal areas of Maharashtra, viz. Manor, Khopoli, Ratnagiri, Aurangabad, and Igatpuri.
