NGO : Kshamata
Kshamata is looking for compassionate volunteers to teach spoken English to adolescent girls and young women living in shelter homes. Many of the participants are survivors of trafficking, gender-based violence, abuse, and other forms of extreme vulnerability. Through its rehabilitation and transformation programmes, Kshamata equips them with education, vocational skills, mental health support, and livelihood opportunities to help them rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.
As a Spoken English Volunteer, you'll conduct interactive sessions that help participants communicate confidently in everyday situations. Rather than focusing on grammar alone, the sessions should encourage conversation, listening, vocabulary building, pronunciation, and practical communication skills that improve confidence and enhance future employability.
Your time and encouragement can help participants develop an essential life skill while supporting them on their journey towards independence.
