If you're passionate about protecting the environment and want to move beyond awareness into meaningful action, this internship is for you.
As an Environmental Action Intern with Naata Foundation, you'll work alongside a grassroots organisation that has spent over a decade building self-sustaining communities in Mumbai's tribal villages through environmental conservation, education, health, and livelihood initiatives.
Over six weeks, you'll gain hands-on exposure to a variety of environmental initiatives—from clean-up drives, waste management activities, biodiversity awareness, and community-led sustainability programmes. Every session offers an opportunity to learn about environmental challenges while contributing directly to practical solutions on the ground.
Depending on the projects scheduled during your internship, you may:
- Participate in community clean-up drives
- Support and drive environmental awareness activities with children from communities
- Assist with community outreach and awareness campaigns
- Engage with students and local communities on sustainable environmental practices
- Help organise and coordinate environmental campaigns and volunteer events
